We’ll be sitting in with our members in a game thread on Slack this Saturday, talking about what’s going on in Pullman. Now’s a great time to join! Annual plans are less than $5 a month.

Folks … we are SO back. On a couple of different levels!

First of all, thanks for bearing with us during our extended absence during August. Jeff’s family planned a European vacation for the past two years, and they finally realized the dream on August 5 when they took off for their adventure: New York (for a day), London, Bath, Florence, Rome, Chessy (in France, where Disneyland Paris is), and finally Versailles (taking the train into Paris each day). It was so rewarding, and Jeff is already tired of driving again and would like to go back to all that public transportation!

Meanwhile, Craig took his family to Disneyland at the same time (although not for three weeks, because that would be insane).

But now, we are … well, not rested, but definitely recharged and super fired up for the 2024 WSU football season, which will be 100% back when it gets underway on Saturday at noon against Portland State in Pullman. We recorded a new show this morning, and Craig is on his way to Pullman as we type this.

Let’s look forward to the upcoming season — which, as we all know, sets up to be one that is unlike any in our lifetimes. There are so many unknowns … with the roster, with the opponents, with the future.

We start off by talking about our excitement before wandering into our areas of concern, including what we should expect out of John Mateer this season. We then look at the schedule and try and figure out how many wins is reasonable for this team against this particular schedule.
